My 2021 Goals Report

Welcome to my first goals report. I am nervous about posting this up; I'm personally a very private and shy person and for the internet (more like people I know) to know what I want to achieve is slightly embarrassing.


Procrastination is my lifestyle, but I want to improve myself for the better. Being unhappy with my situation doesn't help in any way, and I desperately need to turn it around, so I don't spend the rest of my life living in pain, suffering, and regret. The only way to achieve what I want is through habit, goal setting, and planning; as the saying goes, "failing to plan is a plan to fail."

I am no good at writing, but I will continue to blog and improve it through each post, so bear with me for the time being.


So why post my goals online? You can write it for your personal view.

Sure, I could do that, but believe me when I say I have done that many times and still fail to achieve anything. So I need to take a different approach and try being vulnerable and publicly announce them. Will it work? Well, this is an experiment to try. Trial and error will be the only way to figure out what will work for you. Anyways let's get right to it.


Below are my intentions for the rest of the year (Half-year, started this in July, unfortunately). It would be interesting to see what I can achieve in 6 months with this experiment.

Follow me in my pursuit of self-improvement and see how many I can cross out before the year ends.


Goals to achieve by Dec 25th, 2021

  1. I will reach 25% body fat (currently 57kg)

  2. I will finish a beginner level Japanese textbook (Genki 1 textbook)

  3. I will be engaged before this year ends

  4. I will make 5K per month consistently from my Etsy store.

  5. I will save 40K for either my wedding or the down payment on a property.

  6. I will buy an investment property.


Well, that’s it for this year. It’s probably not a good idea to make too many since half the years have already gone by. I have started on these goals already, so I am not starting from scratch. Once I achieve them, I will mark it off here and write a paragraph of my experience, what to improve, what to avoid for anyone curious.
